The New School Year

I do hope that everyone had a wonderful summer. As the nights get cooler and the sun sets earlier we begin to prepare for another school year.

Last night was the first official school function of the 2008-2009 School Year - Kindergarten Orientation. Mrs. Gusmano and Mrs. Douglas met with parents and students, provided information about the daily routines and curriculum, and answered questions. The Kindergartners were able to see their new classroom, hear a story and received a "goody" bag of things they will be able to use as they start their first year of school.

Much more is happening each and every day in our classrooms and halls. The teachers and I are anxious to open our doors and hearts once more to your children. Remember, school starts Wednesday, September 3rd at 8:15AM. Everyone is welcome to join us for a Prayer Service at 8:25AM. Hope to see many of you there!
